The Story of the Pen
The Story of the Pen...
In the beginning, right from the start, "the first thing God created was the pen; then he said to it, 'write all that will happen until the last day,'" said the prophet {S.A.W}. The pen is one of the very first things and the oldest thing ever existed and will exist till eternity. The pen has transformed into many shapes and forms you can ever imagine, and it shapes and forms things to whatever you can ever imagine. It is one of the most inanimate objects that have the power to build and destroy. The pen has played the driving role of our day-to-day life right from time, before life itself.
"The pens have been lifted and the pages have dried." excerpt from a Hadith.
Belief in destiny is one of the pillars of faith in Islam, the sixth pillar. To believe in whatever God has written as destiny and accepting it as a pillar of faith. Nothing can change what has been written, and He, God revealed nothing to humans which will happen now or later except what He reveals in His holy book. Therefore, everything in life is predestined as far as Adam.
And at the same time, we are also given free will to make choices. And our choices will be governed by the will of our creator. Confusing, right? I mean we were given the will of choices to think and navigate all aspects of life, but at the same time, keep in mind that destiny plays its part in all that we do and will do.
...And everything related to it
Humans aren't God, and they possess not the quality to see and know what the future holds except if God wills. Only God is the seer of everything from the beginning to the end, and no man can tell a fortune but guess and claim it. Many have wandered around looking for fortune tellers to predict what's not lost and end up deceived. Everything is predestined, and no one but Him—God—knows what will happen and only He has the power to change the future, but not man.
Dreams and Revelation
Sometimes we get the déjà vu feeling, like "Yo, I've seen this before" or "I've felt this before, but i can't place where exactly" and in reality, you've never felt it—it's just a feeling of what was revealed to you during your dream. Some people are blessed with revelations through dreams that later come to pass. But humans can't change destiny; God can make you think you see it or can actually make you see it. He, God, can also make it happen if He wants, and nothing will stop Him. So, nobody can change what you saw in your dreams, except if He gives you another version of what might have happened.
Laylatul Qadr
Laylatul Qadr is the night of power and majesty when Muslims (mostly) pray and worship their creator to have their destiny changed for whatever they want (in another thought, whatever God destined is perfect, so why change destiny—but let's continue). But I have a theoretical belief that it's probably written in the page of one's destiny that one's destiny will change, or it just goes on like that, thinking it changed but it never changed—just following its natural switch to whatever the destiny's owner wants it to be, which was already in the book of destiny.
If the destiny actually changes, then it definitely will affect every other destiny to be changed. I mean, if everyone is going on a perfect straight line and one particular person needs to make changes in their direction, then it might affect every other movement—therefore, everybody has to change their direction as well to fit in the direction of the person that initiated the change. The same thing goes for destiny; for a destiny to change, then every other destiny has to change. So, it's either everything is predestined and nothing changes, following its natural course, or a destiny changes and affects every other destiny to change.
"But life being what it is - a series of intersecting lives and incidents, out of anyone's control " excerpt from the movie "THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON"
God has His ways of thickening plots and twisting plots. And that's the beauty of it, not knowing what's next-.
